[S9E10]: A Double Shot of Baileys
The episode opens up with shots of a lovely, local flower shop just a few streets over from the beach.
Inside of the shop, Marcie is seen picking up and examining the flower options on display.
“I invited Yvonne and Valentina to join me because I haven’t seen Yvonne since she stormed out of Olivia’s beach house and I feel like Valentina will be a nice neutral energy since that!”
The camera pans to show Valentina strutting up to the shop and then walking in.
Valentina: “Oh my god Marcie, what a fun thing for us to do!”
Marcie: “Isn’t this cute, Val?! Good to see you!”
The women hug.
Valentina: “So great to see you!” She grins.
The shot switches to show Yvonne parking her car. She gets out and the car and walks towards the shop.
“Today is the first time I’ve seen any of the ladies since the blow-up at Olivia’s home. I’m sure we’re going to talk about it and I won’t be leaving any feelings on the table.”
The camera pans to show Yvonne walking in with a smile on her face,
Yvonne: “Hello lovely ladies!”
Marcie: “Yvonne! Hi ya!” She walks up to her and gives her air kisses. “Love this fur on you!”
Valentina: “Well hello Mrs. Yvonne! Isn’t it a little hot for fur?” She laughs.
Yvonne: “It’s never too hot for fashion!” She cocks her head and smiles.
“Yvonne rolled in here like a damn mob wife with this fur coat on in the middle of spring. She may have wisdom but she lacks fashion!” She laughs. “God help this woman!”
“This can’t be coming from the woman who’s worn club dresses when it’s clearly too cold. Pick another battle Miss Armani!”
The ‘Wives begin milling around the store, looking at flowers as they chat.
Valentina: “So ladies it’s been since glamping since we’ve all been together! What’s been new with you two?” She picks up some tiger lillies and looks over at Yvonne and Marcie.
Marcie: “Ohhh just working in the salon, trying to get a better digital client book going. I also saw Yvonne recently too but under not as fun conditions as this unfortunately!” She frowns.
Yvonne: “Well, we can thank Valentina for that.”
Valentina: “Oh God, what did I do?” She laughs.
We get a shot of Marcie looking confused as she holds a flower.
Yvonne: “Since you started this conversation about her employee, she’s been on edge about anything that anyone could say to corroborate what he’s said to you ladies.” She crosses her arms. “I let her know that I’ve heard things from people she and Brandon have employed and she went off!”
Marcie: “Oh yeah she’s a bit touchy right now.” She nods.
Valentina: “Well Weston hasn’t had so much positive things to say about her… I mean I’m just talking about what’s already out there.” She shrugs.
Yvonne: “I agree, Val! And he’s not the only one…”
Marcie: “Olivia probably feels like she can’t trust anyone because of all this now though.”
Yvonne: “So you’re on your her side?” She whips her head in Marcie’s direction.
Marcie: “Side of what?”
Valentina: “Marcie are you seriously siding with Olivia?” She rolls her eyes.
Yvonne: “You’re here defending her and when we were at her home, you definitely didn’t support me when she was attacking me.” She looks at Marcie.
Valentina: “Wait she ATTACKED you?” She puts down some roses. “What does she have to hide that she wants to shut us up?”
Marcie: “Legitimately all I said was ‘She probably feels like she can’t trust anyone’ and now I picked a side? Get for real guys. I’m not on a side I just can understand her jumpiness right now.”
Yvonne and Valentina glance at one another.
Marcie: “She doesn’t feel like she has a good team so we’re the safest place to blow Yvonne. It’s not she’s actually upset with YOU. Just the scenario.”
Yvonne: “Alright Marcie. I respect your viewpoint even though it’s wrong.” She rolls her eyes.
Marcie scoffs.
Marcie: “Well…these daisies are pretty today!”
The scene fades.
The scene begins with shots of Olivia Blake’s home.
In one of the sitting rooms that faces the ocean, Olivia is setting up a tray of pastries and some tea and coffee.
Olivia: “I hope she drinks tea and or coffee!” She chuckles to herself.
“I haven’t had the opportunity to really connect with Serena yet and I really do want to get to know her a little better so I’ve come up with a plan to do so. I’ve invited her over and have an exciting proposition for her!”
Outside, we see Serena drive into the driveway of Olivia’s beach home. She gets out of the car and takes off her sunglasses.
Serena: “Ohhh…this is beautiful.” She smiles.
Serena walks up to the door and rings the doorbell, a few moments later Olivia opens it.
Olivia: “Serena! Welcome to my home!” She hugs her. “Come on in!”
Serena: “Come on cherries!” She giggles and walks in. “This is very beautiful!” She looks around.
Olivia: “Thank you girl! I’m loving being right on the water.”
“Olivia really seems like a great person to be around! And honestly, her style is so unique! I hope that we are able to connect more and maybe form a friendship.” She nods.
Olivia leads Serena into the sitting room.
Olivia: “I have some croissants, scones, muffins…all from this amazing bakery right up the road! Please, help yourself!”
Serena: “Don’t mind if I do!” She laughs.
The women each place a pastry on their plate. Serena and Olivia both grab a cup of coffee.
Olivia: “So — how are you doing? I hope the trip to Coachella went well!.” She smiles.
Serena: “Yes! It was so fun! The other ladies had the chance to meet Doja! It was a memory I’ll never forget.”
Olivia: “Oh I bet. I went years ago with a group of ladies and it was quite a trip. One of the girls even got railed by Drake!” She giggles.
Serena: “Oh my. Not Drake.”
Olivia: “I hope the ladies all got along at Coachella at least— that wasn’t the case here.”
“I am still quite shocked at the way Yvonne Langley acted in my home. She knows I will not tolerate uncouth behavior, so she chose to leave. I was happy to see her leave. There was no place for negative vibes at our cinco de mayo feast.”
Serena: “It was actually a pretty good trip for us! Surprisingly. What happened here?” She raises an eyebrow.
Olivia: “Well, I invited Yvonne and Marcie over to enjoy a Cinco de Mayo feast with margaritas and I think the alcohol got to Yvonne! She just would not let up on me or my husband with her shade so I had to confront her and tell her it’s just not okay.” She shakes her head. “She ended up leaving, but she’ll be fine.”
Serena: “Oh my. Not she left! I feel like Yvonne is just a loose cannon ball sometimes.” She shrugs. “Especially when alcohol is involved. I think y’all both should just talk it out.”
Olivia: “It’ll be fine; trust me, I know how to handle Yvonne Langley.” She laughs and then takes a sip of coffee. “I told you ladies about Paris Fashion Week, right?”
Serena: “Yess!! I’m excited!! How are you feeling? You’re not nervous are you?”
Olivia: “I am a little nervous, ya know. I wanted to show you the designs to get your feedback. Ya know with what the girls were telling me that my Creative Director Weston was saying behind my back — it has me feeling a bit nervous about my designs.”
Serena: “I’m sorry, hun.” She frowns.
“Weston’s betrayal really has done a number on me. He has been my right hand man for so long — it’s a shame what people will do when cameras are in their face and it’s a bigger shame at how his pockets will be suffering as he finishes out his contract with me on a much lower salary.”
Olivia: “Would you like to see some of my designs?”
Serena: “I would love that! Please let me see them. And please don’t ever let people who can’t even get an invite as a guest to Paris Fashion Week cause you to be upset or nervous about your gift!”
Olivia: “Thanks babe, I’ve demoted him and he will finish out his contract with me before leaving the company.”
Olivia pulls out her tablet and pulls up her sketches and then the physical garment next to it.
Olivia: “Here are some of my designs for the line.”
Serena: “That last design is GORGEOUS! I do think there could be some alterations to the white jumpsuit, but that’s mostly my personal preference. These designs are actually pretty amazing, Olivia! You can tell you really put your heart into this.” She smiles and hands the tablet back to Olivia.
Olivia: “Thank you babe, and listen…I have a surprise…in the spirt of friendship I would like to offer you an opportunity to do my model’s hair and makeup at the show in Paris. I would absolutely compensate you, of course, but I really wanted to give you this opportunity as a gesture of friendship.” She smiles.
Serena grins and tries to hold in her excitement.
Serena: “Olivia, I would absolutely love to do that! Oh my goodness. Olivia, thank you.”
Olivia: “Yay!! I will have my Chief Financial Officer send you over a contract for the date. Communicate with her your compensation needs and we will make it happen. This is going to be so incredible!!!”
Serena: “I’m so excited! This is going to be AMAZING!! Let’s get to work babe!”
Olivia and Serena laugh together as the scene fades.
Tense music immediately begins to play as the scene opens up to show the popular Bevelry Beach restaurant, Bell Camp, during brunch time.
The camera follows Monsè as she is being escorted to one of the private rooms where a table with five place settings is set up.
Monsè: Thanks babe, I think we may just do drinks today…”
The host nods and begins taking away the plates.
“This whole open relationship fiasco with Violette has been a pain in all of our asses, so I’ve invited Bree and her daughter to talk to Violette and Jean-Luc over lunch. Hopefully everyone can get out what they have say and we can MOVE! ON! Time is money, and you know we’re rebuilding at the DeRosier household right now.”
The camera follows Violette and Jean-Luc as they are lead through the busy main dining room of Bell Camp, to the private back room.
The shot now changes to inside the room. Monsè looks up from her phone as Violette and Jean-Luc enter.
Violette: “Hello, hello! You look beautiful. I love the bangs!”
Monsè gets up and the two ‘Wives hug.
Monsè: “Hey Vi! Damn, I feel a little underdressed.” She chuckles. “Good to see you babe.”
Violette: “Well, you know. It’s a formal evening! I’m meeting up with this alleged mistress, I wanted to show her who is boss.” She laughs.
Jean-Luc: “Nice to see you, Monsè” He extends his hand out for a handshake.
Monsè nods and shakes his hand.
Monsè: “You too, Jean-Luc. I know it’s a bit awkward given the circumstances, but I’m really glad you guys made it.”
Jean-Luc: “Oh, absolutely. You’ve caused quite a stir in my relationship with this one…” He bumps Violette’s shoulder. “I am ready to put this to bed.”
Monsè: “I’m sure you’d love to put something to bed, Jean-Luc.” She fakes a giggle and looks away.
“Jean Luc has swore to me that Monsè is lying and there is absolutely no truth to the rumor. I am not a stupid woman, I’m a lawyer. I believe everyone is innocent until proven guilty. IF there is facts and proof to back up these claims, I’m gonna… I’m gonna handle it.”
The shot changes to show the entrance of Bell Camp. Tense music playas as we see Bree Bailey walk through the door, followed by her daughter Bianca.
“I have decided to come together with Bianca as they discuss this Jean Luis or whatever his name is. She is my baby and whatever she’s involved in I need to know!”
Bree and Bianca are led to the private room where Monsè, Jean-Luc, and Violette sit.
Bree: “Hello Monsè! And you must be Violet and Jean Louis, nice to meet you both!”
The camera pans to Bianca awkwardly standing behind Bree. Monsè then gets up and hugs the Bailey’s.
Monsè: “Hi ladies! I’m glad you made it.” She turns to the couple. “Violette, Jean-Luc — this is Bree and her daughter Bianca. I think you’ve met Bianca before Jean-Luc?”
Jean Luc would shake his head in disgust with Monse as Violette would immediately size Bianca up. She’d look her up and down and look at Jean Luc.
Bianca: “Yes, yes we’ve met, about a month ago, at that party, do you recall?” She smiles. “You were very…nice.”
Jean-Luc: “I have never met you. It’s nice to meet you?” He looks confused as Bree and Bianca sit.
The camera pans to show Bree glaring at Jean-Luc.
Violette: “Hello charmed!” She reaches her hand across the table to shake Bianca’s. “You are quite the looker, no?”
“She looks like a fucking vampire. Jean Luc is accused of cheating or flirting with THAT? When he has THIS?” She flaunts herself. “ I mean… she looks like the life has been sucked right the fuck out of her.”
Jean-Luc: “This is B.S.” He holds his hands up. “The girl is lying, Vi.”
Bree: “My girl is not a liar, understood? Perhaps you meet MANY girls at MANY parties, could that be?”
Monsè: “Bree, maybe we should let them talk it out? Clear the air once and for all.”
Bree: “But what if — “
Bianca: “Mom, I think you should go with Monsè.”
Bree rolls her eyes but then gets up with Monsè.
Bree: “Alright, Monsè. Let’s go have a martini. But we’re going to be at the bar right out there…” She stares down Violette and Jean-Luc before walking out.
The shot would change to Violette, looking at Bree with disgust as she walks out.
“Isn’t Bree the former cast member on this show who was revealed to be a racist? Why is she even talking to me? Shouting and claiming her slut of a daughter isn’t a liar? Even if she isn’t lying and this is proven to be true. How about you raise your child to not entertain men who are engaged. How about you get your daughter that face lift she so desperately needs. She looks 54. Bitch.”
We see Monsè and Bree order a drink at the bar right by the entrance of the private room, they leave the sliding door open so they can see in.
The shot changes back to Violette and Jean Luc sitting across from Bianca at the table.
Violette: “Let’s lay it all on the table. I’m ready for what you have to bring, little girl. What are you? Like 19?” She looks Bianca up and down.
Jean-Luc: “Calm down.”
Bianca: “I’m 22.” She smiles. “Does that matter? Is that what you really care about?” She looks at Violette.
Violette: “It does matter. You are a baby. Why would my man want anything to do with you? You’ve caused so much drama in my life, I want to know why. What is the proof? What is the facts? Explain! Now.”
Bianca: “I caused drama? This is my first time meeting you and the second time I talk to anyone about this.”
Violette: “You absolutely have! I’ve been 22 before, sweetie. I know how to play that game. If you want to play, we can play.” She narrows her eyes.
Jean-Luc remains silent and sinks back into his seat with his arms folded.
Bianca: “If you want proof I have it. Care to see?”
Violette: “Yes! You’re doing all of this chit chatting, I asked you to show me proof. Show it or shut your mouth. You’re in with the big leagues now!”
The camera pans to Monsè and Bree as they watch intensely from the bar and sip on their martinis.
Monsè: “Uh uh, not the yelling already…”
The shot goes back to the table.
Violette: “C’mon!”
Bianca: “Please lower your tone, you are a grown woman yelling at a ‘child.’” She does air quotes.
Jean-Luc: “Babe…You need to calm down.” He takes Violette’s hand but she shakes it off.
Violette snaps her head in Jean-Luc’s direction.
Violette: “ I will not. If she wants to make these claims, she better back them up. Where is this proof? She seems like a pathetic has been model who is a drug addict apparently or an alcoholic. One of them.” She laughs and glances at Bianca. “Andddd I’m still waiting!”
At the bar, Bree glares Violette down.
Bree: “If that bitch yells at Bianca again I am going to smack her I swear to god…”
Back at the table, Bianca ignores Violette and turns to Jean-Luc.
Bianca: “Are you going to let your girlfriend yell at me for another 20 minutes or you want to tell her the truth? This is getting ridiculous. I’m giving you this one chance.”
Jean-Luc: “She is my fiancé. Be respectful. I don’t know what truth you are talking about. I’m sure you’re a nice girl but I love Violette.”
Violette: “Exactly.” She nods condescendingly.
Bianca smirks and shakes her head. She takes out her phone and pulls up a text thread. She hands her phone over to Violette.
Bianca: “There you go. That’s your FiAnCè’S number, right? Not fake. It’s on iMessege. Call the number.”
Monsè and Bree are watching back at the bar.
Monsè: “Girl, she pulled out the phone. It’s getting good!”
Back at the table, Violette looks at the phone and then glares up at Bianca. She taps around on the phone and then all of a sudden, Jean-Luc’s ringer starts going off in his pocket. He quickly tries to get it out, fumbling it and it lands on the table. He then declines the call. The camera pans to show Violette glaring over at Jean-Luc.
Violette: “Explain. Now.”
Jean-Luc covers his face and then sighs.
Jean-Luc: “Ah… goddamn it. Okay! Yes. I did text her. I met her a while ago, but I promise NOTHING happened. We just talked. Right?!” He glares at Bianca.
Bianca: “Yes, nothing happened because as you can see I did not reply to you.”
“I am filled with so much rage right now I think everyone is lucky we are in a public place and I do not carry myself in such manners. But… I could slap Bianca, I could slap Jean Luc, I could throw a drink on Monsè for being messy, I could toss a drink on Bree for birthing that slut bag of a daughter. But, I am not going to do any of that.”
Bianca: “Seriously — We just flirted at the party, where you told me you were in an open relationship.” She looks at Jean-Luc.
Violette: “Flirted?! Open Relationship?! Ohhhh okay…” She slides her chair back and begins to get up. “Bianca, I sincerely apologize for yelling at you and being dismissive. It’s not in my ministry to act like that, so I do hope you accept my apology. Jean Luc? You can go straight to hell. Do NOT follow me.”
Violette would grab her purse and walk out, walking past Monsè and Bree — she’d shrug at them before exiting.
“As I stated before. I am not a stupid woman. I asked for facts and proof and I was given just that. I don’t feel embarrassed at all! I stood by my fiancé as any woman should do until she is proven wrong. I am incredibly pissed off at Jean Luc and I do not even know what I am going to do. Flirting is one thing. To tell people we’re in an open relationship and to have people all around town gossiping about me is what sets me off. I DO NOT LIKE BEING TALKED ABOUT!”
Back at the table, Jean-Luc sits across from Bianca.
Jean-Luc: “Oh my god… ugh. You see what you did? You ruined everything. You’re not even that pretty. I was drunk!” He begins to get up.
Bianca: “Not that pretty but I was the one who turned you down! HA!”
Jean-Luc storms out after Violette. Bianca then walks up to Bree and Monsè at the bar.
Bianca: “That was rough, but I hope that opened her eyes.” She shrugs.
Bree: “I hope it did honey, now let’s all get a drink at the Bay Club!”
Monsè: “I’m with you girls. Happy hour on me!”
The scene opens up with shots of The Beach Haus.
We see waitresses and bartenders serving cocktails to people at the poolside restaurant of the resort. The camera pans to Olivia Blake who sits at an empty cabana as a server comes over and drops off a bucket of waters to start with.
Olivia: “Thank you, honey.”
“Did someone say beach day with the girls? Let’s have a good time and get some sun ladies! No drama, Yvonne Langley!”
The camera follows Monsè as she walks onto the beach and greets Olivia at their cabana.
Monsè: “Hey cutie!” She hugs Olivia. “I love this place, always such a vibe.” She smiles and looks around.
Olivia: “Hey diva! Right? You’re serving Baywatch! You look refreshed after Coachella!”
Monsè: “Thanks, babe! It’s amazing what your skin can look like outside of the dry ass desert” She laughs and takes a seat.
Serena and Yvonne are the next to arrive.
Serena: “Hello hello! It’s a beautiful day to beach with beautiful women!” She hugs Olivia and then Monsè.
We see Yvonne give a hug to Monsè, but then ignore Olivia. Olivia goes over to the otherside of one of the day beds and grabs a water as everyone else talks.
Yvonne: “Serena and I are twinning, I hope that means there will be good vibes today!”
Serena: “I love these braid! You look beautiful.”
Yvonne: “Thank you, thank you! I got them in just for the occasion. Dont be surprised if you don’t see them next time we meet.” She laughs.
There is a montage as Marcie enters, and then Violette.
“WOOOOO BEACH DAY I’m ready to drink! Tan! Have fun! Maybe do some flirting who CARES! ITS A BEVERLY BEACH DAY WOOOOO!”
Violette: “Hey, ma cheries!” She gives everyone in the group a hug. “Yvonne, you look fabulous! I love the hair!” She snaps. “You look youthful, seriously.” She smiles.
Yvonne: “Thank you lovely.”
We see the ‘Wives put in their drink orders and then recieve the drinks. Some begin to lay out on the day beds but Olivia gets up.
Olivia: “Any ladies want to go for a dip?”
Violette: “I’ll come, Olivia!” She gets up and grabs her drink.
Monsè: “Me too!”
The camera follows Olivia, Violette, and Monsè as they make their way into the water to wade and sip on their drinks.
Violette: “Oooh this water is cold today! But it looks so nice!” She laughs.
Monsè nods in agreement and sips her drink.
Violette: “You doing okay, Liv?” She looks to Olivia.
Olivia: “Ya know, I’m doing good for the most part. Sad about having to demote Weston, but I can’t get over the betrayal.” She sighs.
Monsè: “Yeah, that Weston situation was tough. You’re better off for it, though.”
Violette: “Yes.” She nods and looks at Olivia. “ I’m completely on your side with that whole Weston situation.”
Olivia: “Thank you, ladies. How are you two? Did you both enjoy Coachella?”
Monsè: “I am good, Coachella was fun! You know Miss Monse loves any opportunity dance and drink!” She chuckles.
Violette: “Coachella was actually pretty fun! I wish you could’ve came!”
Olivia: “Ya know, I wasn’t invited but I didn’t want to be there anyways.” She laughs and shrugs. “Too busy!”
Violette: “How was everything here, babe?”
Olivia lets out a sigh.
Olivia: “I had a tiff with Yvonne while you all were away…I’m not too happy with her right now.”
We see Violette raise an eyebrow.
“I wonder why Olivia and Yvonne aren’t in a good place? Yvonne has been kind of mean lately so I’m not all that surprised. She’s been snappy..”
Olivia: “I don’t want to get too much into it right now. I think we can figure it out.”
Monsè: “Good!”
Olivia: “Before I forget girls, I have something exciting to ask you both!”
Violette: “Ooooh, what’s up?!”
Olivia: “Well I met up with Serena the other day and she’s agreed to do the hair and makeup of the models in my fashion show at Paris Fashion Week….BUT I wanted to ask the two of you if you’d like to walk the runway in some of my fashions?!”
“I think Monse and Violette both could pull off an Olivia J. Blake original! I absolutely would love to have them walk the runway in Paris!”
Violette gasps and then lets out a little squeal, she begins jumping up and down int he water.
Violette: “Are you serious right now, Olivia?! Of course I will! Thank you! Oh my gosh!”
Monsè: “OMG, Olivia! That’s so sweet, of course I will! I guess I better lay off the margaritas today then!” She giggles. “Thank you, girl! I promise we won’t let you down.”
Violette: “I’ve never actually been a model contrary to the belief.” She smirks. “Monsè and I will make you proud!”
Olivia: “Aww ladies I’m so excited. You will both be great. The two of you and Serena have made my week!”
“It feels good to know these women want to support me. With Marcie, I feel like I’ve been her shoulder to cry on for a while now and with Yvonne she shades me constantly due to her unhappiness in her own life. It’s refreshing to get to know these younger women who aren’t bogged down in drama.”
Violette: “Aw, I’m glad! This just made me so happy!” She hugs Olivia.
Monsè: “I’m so glad as well! May the best model win!” She looks over at Violette and laughs.
Violette: “Oh trust me, no competition!” She sips her drink.
“I obviously have a better body than Monsè. Monsè is a mother, whose child has completely ruined her figure and not to mention her vagina. I’ve not pushed a child out and I also am not a heavy drinker like Monsè is. She drinks like a fish! I work out, she works out her mouth. I can go on…”
Monsè: “Violette, I think this’ll be a good chance for us to bond and get back on track. How are you feeling after the meeting with Bianca? I know it was a little… rough.”
Violette: “Oh…that.” She puts her sunglasses on.
“That shit was catastrophic. But Violette is a big girl , and I’m sure she’s already filed a lawsuit against Jean Luc for emotional distress or something. If I was him, I’d have fled the country already.”
Olivia: “Wait who’s Bianca? Sorry girls, I’m nosey.”
Violette: “She’s Bree Bailey’s daughter. Some old cast member on this show who was outed for being a racist, apparently. Her daughter and Jean Luc were flirting and I just found out with the proof the other day at Bell Camp.” She smiles and looks at Olivia without hesitation. “But to answer your question…” She looks back at Monsè. “Jean Luc is sleeping in a hotel and has been for a few days. I won’t speak to him.” She shrugs.
Monsè nods.
Olivia: “Oh my god….wow…what’s with the women and their obsession with you and Jean-Luc? This Bianca girl, Yvonne, Marcie…everyone has something to say about Violette and Jean-Luc!”
Violette: “Wait… Yvonne and Marcie said something about me? Why is Yvonne always talking about me? I’ve been nothing but nice to her. What did she say Liv?”
Olivia: “I was actually quite shocked and it led to me and Yvonne having a heated disagreement in which she left my home.” She shakes her head. “Basically, it boils down to Yvonne thinking your with Jean-Luc for the lifestyle he provides you.”
Olivia: “Marcie also said something about you only being with him due to not being able to be with Mattias.” She sips her drink.
Monsè: “Oh that’s disgusting of Marcie…”
Olivia: “Yvonne brought it all up though; I shook my head at Marcie and later told her not to feed into Yvonne’s messiness.”
Violette: “What?” She scoffs. “That is so rude and nasty to say from BOTH of them.” She takes off her sunglasses and places them on her head. “I was in such a good happy mood and now I’m fucking pissed. Ugh!”
Olivia: “I do think Marcie felt remorseful. You know she’s going through a lot with her own relationship so I think with Yvonne focusing on Violette — she was just happy eyes were on someone else.”
Violette: “Whatever… she was still wrong for even jumping in. I like Marcie!”
Monsè: “These girls always have something to say…” She shakes her head.
“I hope I didn’t just set a fire here…” She makes a face. “Oh no.”
Violette: “Let’s just go back to the girls…” She sighs.
The scene changes to show Yvonne, Serena, Valentina and Marcie back at the day beds as they lay out.
Marcie: “Serena how are you doing I haven’t seen you since glamping!”
Serena: “I’m doing well! I’ve been busy with all of the boutique and salon stuff. The question is, how have you been?”
Marcie: “I’m ok.. Jonathon and I are communicating well again so that’s.. a step forward! I’m so happy everyone’s here today I feel like glamping ended on the sour note.”
Serena: “Got it…” She raises an eyebrow.
“Marcie is a cool girl, but I’m just very confused with her right now. It’s like she cries about her marriage one day and now they’re talking? Help us all understand.”
Yvonne: “I do want to address something with you, Marcie.” She sits up and looks over at her.
Marcie: “What’s up?” She sips her drink.
Yvonne: “I still don’t feel good about where I feel you stand when it comes to Olivia and I’s drama.”
Marcie: “Break it down for me. I’m a bit confused.”
Serena: “What happened between you guys?” She looks confused at Yvonne. “I heard a little bit of the story. I heard that Yvonne was coming at Olivia and her husband really hard.”
Yvonne: “Oh Serena, please. Not you too!” She rolls her eyes.
Serena: “Noo!! I’m only saying what I was told. That’s all. I don’t know anything but Olivia’s side. From my perspective, she’s not really upset with you.”
Yvonne: “Forget Olivia’s part in this — I’ll deal with her. But, Marcie it doesn’t sit well with me that you let me leave without checking on me in that moment or afterwards. I didn’t have any communication with you until you wanted to go flower shopping, but I’m sure you sat with Olivia and kept munching on a quesadilla despite her taking jabs at you.”
“Yvonne’s talking about Olivia’s digs but here she is throwing a dig.”
Marcie: “I wanted to give you some space. Things got really heated I didn’t want you to think I was getting involved, but I obviously could’ve defended you more. With Olivia I would stay out of that like obviously me and her are like have to address some things between us, but I don’t think like you know you just talking about our relationship is like necessary honestly Yvonne.”
Yvonne: “Well if you’re going to stay out of it like you always do, then don’t play devil’s advocate for her when I see you.” She cocks her head.
Valentina: “Marcie you have to learn to use that voice of yours! Sitting back on the sidelines gets you no where!”
Yvonne: “Yes! Marcie, you found time to say…aww she doesn’t have anyone to trust right now…aww she’s in a tough spot…awww Olivia…boo hoo Olivia.”
“I love me some Marcie but come on bitch damn stand up and use that voice. I get you’re on your feet all hours of the day but shit your knees aren’t that weak that you can’t stand up to Olivia.”
Yvonne: “But when we are with Violette, you don’t tell her that you think she’s strange or with her fiancé because he’s a placeholder.”
Serena: “Wait a minute. Huh?” She looks around in shock.
Marcie: “All I said was that Olivia probably feels like she can’t trust anyone right now! That’s not a dig at you! At all.”
Serena: “I think we can all admit that we have to give Marcie some space, she is going through a up and down marriage. And it may be causing her to get more uncomfortable with voicing her opinions.”
Marcie: “Correct — “ She turns to Yvonne. “You need to understand that me saying that Olivia feels a little bit touchy right now doesn’t mean I’m taking her side in how you and her are. I’m simply explaining that with the Weston scenario she probably feels a little uncomfortable right now especially talking about anything pertaining to it.” She runs her fingers through her hair. “When it pertains to Violette — me and her have gotten to know each other and as much as I don’t like her weird boyfriend. I think she’s a very nice girl so why don’t you shut up once in a while and understand that not everything is an attack on YOU Yvonne.”
Yvonne: “Did I say you attacked me? Dont turn it around mama!”
Marcie: “You definitely are coming at me like you’ve been slighted.”
Yvonne: “I didn’t say you took a dig at me but now you have!”
Valentina: “Listen girls you two don’t need to fight now. This is about communicating effectively!”
Yvonne: “I tried to communicate effectively. She was mad at me last year because she felt I didn’t defend her place in the group but now acting shocked that I’m slighted by her sitting with someone who said she can’t deal with the problems in her marriage.”
Marcie: “You let me get attacked by 5 different women last year. You having a one on one with your friend is your problem, and honestly you should shut up sometimes you talk too much. You don’t listen effectively. You hear one thing it comes out another and you exaggerate. You do play victim though like right now.”
“Yvonne’s my friend, but don’t do this with me. I had it. I took it last year. I’m not doing it again this year I’m not.”
Yvonne: “Well I think you don’t talk enough!”
Marcie: “Because I’m observant. Not everyone needs to be the loudest person in the room”
Yvonne: “The only time you’re really talking these days are to defend the people who are abusing you.”
Serena: “Yikes.”
Yvonne: “Olivia’s throwing shit in your face and Jon is allegedly throwing you around a room.”
Marcie: “Oh really?” She glares at Yvonne.
Valentina: “Well on that note should we just go find the girls? I feel like this is heading in the wrong direction. You both have been friends for so long.”
Marcie: “Wow Yvonne.” She begins to get up and gather her things. “Fuck you! That was fucked up1”
Yvonne: “Fuck YOU!”
Valentina: “Okay, ENOUGH!” She stands up.
Marcie: “Nope.” She shakes her head. “That’s not a friend.” She begins to walk out.
The shot focuses on Valentina, Serena, and Yvonne as they remain on the day bed.
Yvonne: “She couldn't just say sorry and wanted to drag me so let’s go back to mentioning it all!”
“Last year, I sucked it up and apologized to Marcie for not showing up for her in the way she wanted DESPITE her not ever saying anything about her issues UNTIL she got an audience with the girls.”
We get one last shot as Marcie walks off the beach and to the front to be picked up.
Producer: “Marcie, are you sure you don’t want to cool off and stay?”
Marcie: “Absolutely not. Yvonne’s a fucking cunt. Fucking bitch!”
The episode goes to commercial break as we see Marcie get into a black sprinter van and leave.
After the commercial break; Olivia, Monsè, and Violette go back to the cabana from the beach.
Olivia: “Hey ladies the water felt amazing!”
Valentina gets up and dusts the sand off of her.
Valentina: “Hey! Marcie has left the building.”
Olivia: “What happened to Marcie?” She looks confused.
Serena: “I just think we need to all recollect ourselves.”
Valentina: “It’s best we don’t revisit that conversation. Let’s just say Jon was brought up and that was enough for Marcie to leave.”
Olivia: “Oh no…”
Serena: “I just think we need to all recollect ourselves.”
Valentina: “Yes! It seems we have bigger fish to fry…or shots to take!” She thanks the server as he brings over a round of shots. “So, what happened between you two?” She raises an eyebrow and points between Violette and Yvonne.
We see Yvonne roll her eyes a bit and start fanning herself.
Violette: “Oh, nothing Val. Just Yvonne being an old bitter bat like always.”
Yvonne: “Oh? And what did I do now?” She chuckles.
Violette: “You talked about my engagement. Said that I am only with Jean Luc for the lifestyle he provides me. Mind you all, I come from generational wealth and Jean Luc didn’t have a pot to piss in when we met. But… Yvonne knows me so well!”
Yvonne: “Is that what Olivia told you?” She scoffs. “Stirring up mess like she always does.”
The camera pans to Olivia.
Olivia: “Yvonne, I told her the truth. Put your big girl panties on and own the shit you spew out of that mouth when you indulge in the cocktails, babe.”
“Well I think Yvonne got the rumor wrong, her ears didn’t hear it right. The rumor was that Jean Luc is an opportunist who got with Violette solely for her wealth. Not the other way around….”
Serena: “Violette, to be fair, you also had a lot to say about Yvonne. It’s just tit for tat. I think.” She sips her drink.
Violette: “Serena, that isn’t true. What have I had to say about Yvonne? That she is broke? It was a joke! She made us pay for LIQUOR at her wedding? Is that not in fact… broke behavior? Come on.”
Serena: “But your words still affected her. No matter how YOU felt. And you know we are good, so I’m not arguing with you or trying to throw you under the bus… I’m just saying that it’s a two way street.” She holds her hands up. “So you both can apologize and move on. Ultimately.”
Violette: “Serena, my doll. I like you a lot so I am going to respectfully ask you stay out of this.” She purses her lips. “Yvonne, care to answer?”
Yvonne: “Please! Yes, I’ve discussed you but I said nothing I wouldn’t say to your face. I actually feel sorry for you- you lost your true love, you’re supporting a man who doesn’t deserve you, and you’re stuck at the front of the church because the two of you can’t even put your eyes on an altar.”
Olivia shakes her head and sets her drink down.
Olivia: “Yvonne — you never said she was supporting Jean-Luc. You told Marcie and I the opposite. Maybe it was the cocktails but I’m not a liar, Yvonne.”
Yvonne: “I didn’t say that then but I’m saying it now.” She shrugs.
“Like I told Serena, I know how to handle Yvonne Langley. She won’t spin this on me when everyone knows she’s the shit disturber in this circle.”
Olivia: “Bullshit Yvonne! You and I got into a disagreement because I disagreed with the shit spewing from that nasty mouth of yours.”
Yvonne: “Bullshit Olivia! We had a disagreement because I said I heard that you and Brandon were horrible bosses!”
Violette: “Yvonne, I think you are jealous. I think you are truly just an old bitter, washed up, piece of shit woman who is mad at anybody younger than you that has what you desire. You remarried Horace because nobody else would put up with you. You are a bitch and a fucking loser!”
Olivia nods along.
Olivia: “Yvonne, you’re just the connoisseur of bullshit, Yvonne Langley. It’s tiring, get a hobby. Go love on Horace before he croaks. God bless.”
Yvonne rolls her eyes and begins to gather her belongings.
Yvonne: “I’m going to remove myself.”
Serena: “I don’t think that’s necessary. Let’s just calm down ladies. Please.”
Violette: “I think that’s for the best. Remove yourself from the group as well while you’re at it. Walk that big ass right on out of here. I’ve been nothing but nice to you!”
Yvonne gets up.
Yvonne: “I’m not going back and forth with someone who is hoping for a second wind in her career or a woman who’s better off pawning her ring because it’ll never mean marriage on her finger.”
Violette: “Well my marriage will last longer than the rest of her and Hoarace’s life.” She smirks.
Valentina: “I need more alcohol for this shit. This was supposed to be a fun day!”
Yvonne turns to Olivia and Violette before walking off.
Yvonne: “You both can take the shit you just pulled and shove it in your surgically produced jawlines. I’m done.” She begins walking away.
Olivia: “Don’t tip over and fall. The sand is hard to maneuver in when tipsy!” She puts on her sunglasses and waves.
Serena now gets up.
Serena: “Let me go check on my sista.” She hurries after Yvonne.
The camera shows the remaining ‘Wives on the day bed.
Violette: “She is such a bitch.”
The scene fades out.
