[S3E4]: Battle of the Beverly Beach ‘It’ Girls
Episode 4 opens with just natural sound as Lauren sweeps the kitchen floor. The camera zooms in on a picture of her and Richard on a stand near the kitchen table. Lauren is now picking up her children’s shoes and putting them in the laundry room.
“My mom is coming into Beverly Beach for the week to help me with the kids. I love when my mom visits, but she does have some high standards about housekeeping.”
Lauren sighs and stops and looks at herself in a hallway mirror. She tightens her messy bun, the camera now zooms in on her newly ringless ring finger.
Lauren’s Interview:
“The other day while I was at the dealership working, I received an Instagram DM from a woman that claims she has been seeing Richard for the past couple of months.” She rolls her eyes and begins to read the DM out loud:
“I was obviously suspicious of something going on but to have it confirmed just breaks my heart. We chatted some more, she’s a bartender at a restaurant he frequents. She showed me pictures…it’s true. Richard has adamantly denied this and so I had no choice but to legally separate from him. It’s just a feeling, you know. I know it’s true. He is staying at our rental condo on the beach for now. I need my mom to watch the kids so I have time to meet with my lawyers and get out of the house if I’m feeling emotional. The kids do not need to see me like this.”
The doorbell rings and Lauren goes to open it. She greets her mom, Connie, with a big hug.
Connie: “Oh sweetheart, I am so happy to see you! It’s been a few months since I’ve made the trip over from L.A.”
Lauren ushers her mom in and takes her suitcase from her. They migrate to the formal living room. Lauren quickly goes to the kitchen and pours two glasses of wine, bringing them back.
Lauren: “Mom, than you SO much for coming. This is a really big help.”
Connie: “Of course, Lauren. I will always be here for you. Are Junior and Brooke still in school?” She looks around.
Lauren: “Yes, we will go pick Brooke up in about an hour and Junior will drive himself to soccer practice. He should be home for dinner. They are both growing up so fast.” She bites her nail, shaking her head; she looks distracted.
Connie: “Oh, I am so sorry to hear about Richard.” She scoots closer to Lauren and puts an arm around her. “Honey, I had no idea that your marriage has been this difficult for you. Your father and I love — er — loved him and you guys seemed so happy when we would see you.”
Lauren: “We were! I have just changed over the past few years. I am the one that is changing what I want out of the relationship and Richard just lied about wanting to change it too. It is exhausting to have to deal with these other women, mom!”
Connie pulls Lauren in closer and strokes her hair.
Connie: “I know, baby…I know.”
“My parents have always loved Richard. It was a shock for my mom to learn about our marriage on the show. I think her feelings towards him have changed since them. My father and him still speak often and I don’t want them to have to give up their relationship. He is still the father of my children and I want to see if we can eventually reconcile. Until then, I need to meet with my lawyer to see what my options are going forward. I am officially done turning a blind eye to Richard’s affairs.”
The scene ends as Connie continues to stroke Lauren’s head in the living room.
The camera follows Lorelei and Morgan as they walk into a fancy, private, box overlooking the SoFi stadium where the L.A. Rams play. Lorelei sets her belongings down on one of the sofa chairs.
Lorelei: “Wow Morg. This is such a great view for the game. I’m so excited for you to meet Olivia. I think you’ll like her alot. She’s also bringing her boyfriend Brandon who I’m positive you’ll like. Liv said he’s a huge sports guy.”
Morgan: “Well you know that’s my kinda guy. Can’t wait to meet him.”
He opens a bottle of scotch and starts pouring four glasses of it.
“My husband and I frequent Rams games quite often. My husband being the lawyer he is, represents a lot of the players on the team so we always get treated well. I wanted to invite Olivia and her man for a little couples evening just to have some fun and get to know eachother better.”
Olivia and Brandon walk into the box seats hand in hand.
Olivia: “Hey diva!” She hugs Lorelei. “This is my boyfriend Brandon.”
Brandon: “Nice to meet you all. Thank you for the invitation, this is pretty lit.” He gawks at the room.
Morgan introduces himself to Olivia and Brandon as well.
Lorelei: “Come! Come sit down guys.”
“Lorelei and I are really hitting it off. I was excited to receive her invite to tonight’s game and I hope Brandon and Morgan are able to connect well and be good buddies!”
Morgan and Brandon sit across from each other and sip their scotch, their significant others to their sides.
Morgan: “So Brandon, you a fan of the Rams?”
Brandon: “Hell yeah! I try to get to at least two games every season.”
Olivia places a hand on his large bicep.
Olivia: “He can be quite passionate when it comes to the game.”
Morgan: “That’s alright man. Here, let’s go get some snacks and let the ladies have their little time to gossip.”
Lorelei: “Oh shut up, Morgan.” She rolls her eyes.
Morgan: “Is that not what you’re going to do?” He chuckles.
Olivia: “Of course not! We’re going to catch up. There’s a difference.” She grins.
Morgan: “Alright, alright. We’ll leave you ladies to it.”
Lorelei and Olivia look at eachother and shake their heads then end up laughing.
Lorelei: “What in the world are we going to do with these boys?”
Olivia: “You’re asking the wrong girl. So, what have you been up to, Lorelei?”
Lorelei: “Well, I’ve actually been out of town, girl. I just got from New York City yesterday. I had to do aton of press for my new line launching in Nordstroms. It’s been rough but I’m surviving. How have you been?”
Olivia: “I’ve been okay. You know I’m here in L.A. alot because we are wrapping Top Model up in the next month. In the midst of filming, I’m also moving Brandon into my house. And to make things even more stressful, my boys dropped a bomb on me a couple days ago that I’m still not recovered from.” She crosses her eyes and lets out a heavy sigh.
Lorelei: “Oh? A bomb? What’s wrong sweetie?” She looks concerned.
Olivia: “My boys said I don’t need them anymore with Brandon moving in and they want to move to L.A.”
Olivia’s Interview:
“It’s been three days and I am still not happy with my sons, Raul & Luis. They will always be my babies and I don’t want the distance between us.”
Lorelei frowns.
Lorelei: “Aw, that’s tough. How old are they? Hell. I’m 36 and I still need my mom.” She laughs.
Olivia: “Well they are now 23 and 25…but that doesn’t matter. They are still babies to me!”
Lorelei: “Oh, they’re for sure still babies. I didn’t know what the hell I was doing at that age. You’re their mama, they’ll always need you!”
“I think it’s adorable that Olivia is such a passionate, hands on mom. Not all mothers are like that, trust me. She’s really a great mom.”
Olivia: “Thanks girl…” She gets up and hugs Lorelei. “I guess it’s time for me to let them have their space.”
“I appreciate Lorelei’s support. She is really growing on me more than she already was. I can tell this is going to be a great friendship.”
Lorelei hugs her back.
Lorelei: “Yeah, just let them go and be co-eds and do the reckless shit we’ve all done in our 20s. They’ll come back when they need you.” She smiles.
Olivia: “Oh no!! I don’t want to think about them like that now!” She laughs.
Lorelei: “They’re boys! What do you think they’re going to do with a girl?”
Olivia: “Lorelei stop it!”
The duo are dying of laughter when Morgan comes back.
Morgan: “Babe, you two gonna come watch the game? Or are you going to keep gossiping?” He leans down to kiss Lorelei, a pretzel in hand.
Lorelei: “We’re coming, we’re coming.” She turns to Olivia. “C’mon girl before they cuss us out.”
The scene ends with Lorelei, Olivia, and Morgan joining Brandon at the glass to watch the game.
A fabulous sushi restaurant is shown. Inside, Elyse sits inside sipping on a glass of rosè.
“I’ve invited Lauren out for a little one on one girl time. We’ve seen each other around a lot recently in group settings but we really haven’t gotten a chance to actually know one another. So sushi it is! I am a fish girl so…” She winks at the camera and laughs giddily.
Lauren walks in and sits down across from Elyse.
Lauren: “Elyse, this place looks wonderful. How are you? Thank you for inviting me to lunch! This is definitely a welcome distraction from my hectic schedule at the moment.”
“I actually am happy that Elyse invited me to lunch. I hope we can finally get to know each other separately rather than just ‘Ren’s friend’. It’s hard to read Elyse in the group. She seems sweet but also very direct.” She shrugs. “We shall see how this goes.”
Elyse: “Lauren baby! I’m great! I can relate. I’ve been so busy as of recently. What have you been up to?”
Lauren: “Actually, my mom is in town right now. She’s just helping around the house and with the kids and stuff.
Elyse: “Oh wow! That’s so sweet.”
Lauren: “Yeah! It’s always nice to see her, my parents live in L.A. so I see them pretty frequently. Where is your family from?”
Elyse: “Well I’m originally from Dallas. Dallas!” She lets out a shrill shriek. “Can you believe it?” She laughs and sips her rosè. “My father was an oil connoisseur so we were dripping in diamonds. I moved to Italy for a little while because Texas is…oh my god. It’s just an experience. Now I’m here in Beverly Beach.”
Lauren: “Wow. What a life. I’ve been living in California since I was born. I’ve traveled all over with my husband but I could never imagine moving to a different country. Did you pick up any Italian over there?”
Elyse: “Certo che lo faccio! I speak many different languages. Italy is such a beautiful place. The men, oh my god! And the women!” She winks. “It was fun and all but I admire your life. It just seems so…normal. I’m looking for that now.”
Lauren: “Oh, my life is far from normal. I wish it were that simple.” She sips her miso soup.
“I’m pretty sure that was an insult but like, wrapped in an Elyse compliment.” She chuckles. “Elyse truly is something else.”
Elyse: “Normal has its perks. My brother and I are here now because we are trying to open up a foundation for transgender individuals. My brother is a beautiful trans butterfly. He’s my heart.”
Lauren: “Beverly Beach is the perfect place for your foundation! The entire city is very supportive and our Pride Week is a huge tourist attraction. let me know if you need any contacts in the party planning circle. I’ve been hosting parties for years.”
Elyse: “That is too sweet. You know what, Lauren?”
Lauren: “What’s that, Elyse?”
Elyse: “I’ve decided I like you.”
Lauren: “I like you too. I’m glad we had lunch today.”
Elyse: “Now that the cats out of the bag…I’m thinking about inviting all of the ladies down to my desert house in Sedona, Arizona for a little weekend getaway. Do you think that’s a good idea?”
Lauren: “That sounds like alot of fun. I could use a girls trip. I think it could really bond us together as a group.”
Elyse: “Amazing. I’ll let the other ladies know real soon. ”
“Lauren said it best. This could be a good bonding opportunity so I will be inviting all the ladies, even Ashantai and Olivia. Maybe we can all get to a better place because I really don’t have a problem personally with either of them.
Lauren: “I will put it on my calendar.”
The scene ends as Lauren gets up and air kisses Elyse goodbye then walks out of the restaurant.
The scene opens with an outside view of Lorelei & Morgan Sullivan’s magnificant house located in Beverly Bluffs. Inside, Lorelei is in the kitchen with Morgan, directing catering staff.
Lorelei: “I need you guys to check the tables, please. Make sure all the placecards are where they are suppose to be and make sure the food is on time. These women are so damn picky, if this ain't right…I’ll never hear the end of it.” Stressed out, she runs her fingers through her hair. She then takes a big gulp from her wine glass.
Morgan: “Just relax, babe. It’s going to be a fun night.” He gives his wife a kiss.
“I’ve invited all the women to my home for a couples dinner. I really want us all to form a sisterhood and really bond. That entails getting to know each others significant others! Most of the ladies haven’t even met Morgan yet. What better way to do it than and intimate poolside dinner?” She smiles.
The scene switches to outside where Ashantai’s husband, Charles, opens the door and helps her out of the backseat of a Mercedes.
Ashantai: “Thank you, babe.”
Charles: “You’re welcome. This house is impressive!”
Ashantai: “Right, the Sullivans are living good. She said to go down the stairs on the side of the house and straight to the back by the pool.”
The couple walks to the side of the house and down the stairs to reveal a beautiful dinner table next to the pool. Lorelei stands outside with Morgan. When she notices Ashantai and Charles she squeals.
Lorelei: “Ashantai! Welcome! You look fabulous, babe.” She smiles and holds her hand out to Charles. “Im Lorelei Sullivan, this is my husband Morgan.” She puts a hand on Morgan’s chest.
As Lorelei, Morgan, Ashantai, and Charles mingle, the camera shows Olivia and her boyfriend Brandon walking down the stairs holding hands. They talk amongst each other when they see the dinner setup.
Olivia: “This is amazing, per usual. Don’t expect anything less from Lorelei.”
Brandon: “Hell yeah it is. I’m more excited to see the food though. I’m hungry.” He chuckles.
Olivia and Brandon make their way to the other couples.
Olivia: “Hey ladies and gents!”
Lorelei: “Liv!” She gives her a hug and kiss on the cheek. She then approaches Brandon and gives him a polite hug. “How are you two?”
Brandon: “We are great, how are you all?” He now daps up Morgan. “Good to see you again.”
Ashantai introduces Charles to Olivia and Brandon. Lorelei and Morgan face the two other couples.
Lorelei: “Why don’t we sit down and have some drinks while we wait for the others?”
The couples all sit down at the dinner table, a staff member comes over and starts taking drink orders.
Ashantai: “Sooo, whats on the menu girl?” She looks at Lorelei.
Lorelei rubs Morgans back and smiles.
Lorelei: “Tonight we’re having herb crusted filet mignon, roasted potatoes, and mac & cheese. We’ll have some salad and finger foods out in a bit. You guys, our chef is phenomenal. He will not disappoint.”
Brandon: “I can’t wait!”
Olivia: “Sorry, he hasn’t eaten all day.” She rubs Brandon’s arm.
Across the table, Ashantai is now whispering in Charles’ ear.
Ashantai: “Ima give you some when we make it home…”
Charles: “Oh yeah?” He smirks and gives Ashantai a peck on the lips and she bursts out giggling.
The couple chat on and Elyse is now seen walking down to the pool terrace, solo. She approaches the table.
Elyse: “Hi everyone! You’re all looking so coupley!” She laughs and walks over to Lorelei and Morgan who both stand and greet her. “Hey babes! Morgan! Sexy man.” She kisses him on the cheek.
“To each their own but my god…These are some beautiful women but their significant others look like something you’d find inside a gas station in some rural, secluded, area. You know the kind where the bathrooms are like really dirty?” She cringes. “But not Morgan! He’s a hottie. Lorelei did good.”
Lorelei: “You look DIVINE, girl. Why are you single again?”
Elyse: “I’m dating myself! Self love is the best love!”
Olivia’s Interview:
“Elyse probably couldn’t keep a man…or woman, let’s be real.” She laughs. “I’m sorry, I know. That was mean. Don’t air that!”
When Elyse goes over to greet Olivia and Brandon, we see Ashantai talking to Charles.
Ashantai: “This is the one I was talking about…” She eyes Elyse.
Charles: “Damn, you into it with em’ already?” He raises an eyebrow.
Elyse takes a seat next to Olivia and Brandon and gives Ashantai and Charles a polite smile from across the table.
Elyse: “Hi Ashantai.”
Ashantai: “Hello Elyse, you look amazing.”
Elyse: “Thank you! You as well.”
The servers bring everyone their drinks. Lorelei downs the glass of wine she brought form inside and starts sipping on a new drink. Morgan shoots her a look and leans in and whispers.
Morgan: “Careful…”
Lorelei: “I am being careful.” She rolls her eyes but quickly puts her smile back on as she watches everybody at the table mingle. “Olivia, do you know if Ren is coming? She never let me know, I tried calling her today to find out but no answer. Lauren already texted me that she was five away.”
“I invited all of the women and all of them have showed up or given me a notice except for Ren. Her and I have been kind of wishy washy but I thought she’d at least have the decency to either accept the invite or let me know she’s not coming.”
The table looks to Olivia, she tucks a strand of hair behind her ears.
Olivia: “I haven’t talked to her today. Ren has the tendency to either show up extremely late when folks are leaving or be a no show.” She shrugs and sips her wine.
Lorelei: “Wow. Very dèclassè of her.” She slams down her second glass of wine then looks to Olivia and shakes her head.
Elyse: ”I’m sure the glamour doll is just busy getting ready!”
Ashantai: “Is the food coming? I’m hungry, dammit!” She laughs.
Lorelei: “Yes, yes, honey. I’ll tell them to bring it. We can start without Ren.” She motions to member of the staff.
Olivia raises and eyebrow at Ashantai.
“A bit rude…”
Lauren is now seen walking towards the table without Richard.
Lauren: “Sorry I’m late guys!” She goes and gives Lorelei a hug. “Thanks for having me! And you must be Morgan.” She gives him a hug as well.”
“Not Lauren showing up dateless!” She fake gasps.
Olivia: “Hey L! Where’s Richard?”
Lauren bites her lip as she takes a seat next to Elyse.
Lauren: “Well, he is not able to make it tonight because I didn’t invite him. We seperated over the weekend so he is staying at our beach condo for now. Soooo…yeah. Cats out of the bag.” She laughs nervously.
Olivia audibly gasps.
Olivia: “Seperated?!”
Brandon: “Sorry to hear that, Lauren.”
Lorelei: “Oh my god…”
“I didn’t tell any of the girls, including Olivia and Ren, about the separation because I was just trying to process everything going on and figure everything out. It’s been a hard few days.”
The camera shows Ashantai and Charles who both look uninterested.
“I’m seeing everyone chit chattin’ around. Where's the damn food.” She looks around dramatically. “Let’s be serious. Black folks get mad when they hungry.”
Elyse: “How are you doing though?”
Lorelei: “Is it because of the cheating allegations, Lauren?” She is now sipping on her third glass of wine.
Olivia: ‘The cheating allegations have been going around the group for years. Lauren, you’ve always believed him! What happened?”
Lauren: “He was suppose to stop having affairs and he was still seeing women behind my back. She messaged me with proof.” She looks down.
Olivia: “Wow.”
Morgan: “Lauren, you are a beautiful woman and kind from what I’ve seen. You’ll find someone better. Don’t let it get you down.”
Brandon: “Yeah! I can set you up with one of my friends.” Olivia elbows him. “Oh. Sorry. Too soon?”
Lauren: “Thank you guys. I really thought we were on a good path going to therapy, but it’s just not working.”
Lorelei: “I couldn’t do it.” She chuckles, noticeably intoxicated. “If my husband cheated. Girls, it’d be game over.”
Morgan: “And I would never.” He side eyes Lorelei and squeezes her hand.
Olivia: “Lauren, we’re all here for you love. Well except Ren who didn’t show up.”
Ashantai: “I just cannot.” She taps on her glass. “Can we just get on with dinner?”
Olivia turns to her, looking bewildered and upset.
Olivia: “Ashantai, shut the hell up she’s hurting! This group has a sisterhood. One of your supposed friends is dealing with something major and you’re worried about food. How dare you!”
Brandon: “Olivia…”
Ashantai snaps her head in Olivia’s direction.
Ashantai: “You shut the fuck up.”
Charles: “Bae!”
Olivia audibly gasps. We see Lorelei shake her head and put her face into her hands, everybody else at the table watches the train wreck that is happening.
Olivia: “This is disgusting behavior.”
“The girls were right about Ashantai. She’s not from around Beverly Beach and does NOT fit in this group. All she’s worried about is food when Lauren is breaking down right now about her marriage. I mean, who does that?
Ashantai, still fired up looks Olivia up and down.
Ashantai: “Girl, what the fuck are you talking about? Disgusting?!”
Charles attempts to calm Ashantai down. Before Olivia can respond, Elyse jumps up from her seat and starts tapping her knife against her wine glass. Lorelei can be seen swaying slightly back in forth in her seat as she finishes yet another glass of wine.
Lorelei: “This is jus…..wow…”
Elyse: “Ladiiiiiiies! May I have your attention please?”
The madness at the table stops and everyone pays attention to Elyse.
Elyse: “With all that's going on now…” She looks to Lauren and puts a hand on her shoulder. “With this news, us girls should all have a girls weekend. I’ve got a fabulous place down in Sedona, Arizona and I say let’s go enjoy the desert! Let’s have some fun.”
Lauren: “Yes! This is exactly what I need right now.”
Lorelei: “Ohhhh okay. Thats ni- nice. Thank yewww for the invite Elyse.”
Ashantai: “I need a vacation.”
Olivia’s Interview:
“Now I know Ashantai’s broke ass is excited for vacation. The Walmart fashions, the hunger, and now getting a free trip.” She laughs.
With Elyse still standing, the camera pans to Ren walking down to the dinner alone. She walks over and greets Elyse, Olivia, Brandon, and Lauren.
Ren: “Well hello, hello!”
Elyse: “Ren! Nice of you to join us. I was just inviting everyone to my house in Sedona for the weekend. You must come.”
Ren: “I would love to.”
“I don’t personally like Lorelei, she’s a weirdo. I appreciate the Chanel and her trying to buy friendships but I really don’t care for her events so if I’m late, I’m late.” She shrugs.
The camera switches to Lorelei who watches Ren, her eyes faded low and smirking, clearly drunk as hell.
Lorelei: “Ren! Imgla you could make it. Even if it was hours late.” She chuckles. At this point, Morgan is handing her a glass of water.
Lorelei’s Interview:
“I think Ren showing up to my party HOURS late is kind of rude. Even if I don’t personally care for you, I wouldn’t be as tasteless as that. But…then again, Ren doesn’t seem to have any sort of taste or class whatsoever.”
As a servers start bringing out the meal, Ren, turns to Lorelei.
Ren: “Yeah, I’m very busy running a million dollar company. Self made women do that. But I made it.”
Lorelei: “I’ve never heard of these millions you’re claiming Ren….”
Ren’s Interview:
“She’s clearly blasted. Imma just leave all of that mess alone for now.”
Olivia: “So Elyse, is everyone invited to your house? We may want to leave some at home.” She shoots a look at Ashantai.
Elyse: “Hush!” She giggles. “Well all of you are invited.” She gestures to the table. “The boys and Ashantai can stay.” She shrugs. “Oops! Did I say that outloud?” She giggles again. “Silly me!”
Olivia smirks and Brandon watches intently.
Brandon: “Yikes.”
Ashantai: “Excuse me? See, this the shit I be talking about.”
Olivia looks around and raises her hand.
Olivia: “Can someone give Ashantai some more food? She is very hungry.”
Ashantai: “Y’all are some fake, phony ass bitches!” She points to Elyse and Olivia. “I don’t need your trip, hunni! Anything you’re doing I could do. You both are nothing. You grew up with nothing so now that y’all have something now you wanna show it off! Man, fuck both y’all really.”
Charles rubs Ashantai’s arm.
Charles: “I think it’s time to go.”
The couple starts to get up.
Olivia: “Ashantai, you have several screws loose, love. I pity you.”
Elyse: “Don’t get your discounted panties in a bunch. Of course you can come, it was a joke. We do need some entertainment. Now let's eat!”
Ashantai: “Cheap ass dinner, fake ass people, stupid ass bitches.” She storms off with Charles.
Olivia: “Leave like you always do. Take a to go plate — we know you’re starving. Take a glass of wine too — You seem thirsty.”
Across the table Morgan is helping Lorelei drink water. The camera pans to Ren and Lauren who are watching the whole interaction with horrified looks on their face.
Lauren: “Well, cheers to that.” She awkwardly laughs.
“What is that behavior? I liked Ashantai one on one but tonight was seriously ridiculous.”
Everyone starts eating and light chatter is heard. After about five minutes Lorelei gets up from the table. She stumbles a bit but regains her balance.
Lorelei: “Ren, can we talk for a moment?”
Morgan grabs Lorelei’s arm, he speaks to her in a whisper.
Morgan: “Lorelei…? You sure?”
Lorelei: “Yes, yes, I’m fine.”
“I really do sense some tension with Ren and I don’t like it. I think she’s very jealous of me. I really do. But, I don’t want to have tension going on this trip, I want to have fun and let loose so hopefully we can work things out.”
Ren: “Sure, what’s going on, love.” She gets up as well, wine glass in hand.
Lorelei: “Come on, let’s go away from the women for a sec.”
Lorelei and Ren walk across the pool area to where the lounge chairs are. Lorelei trips a little and giggles. Ren helps her over and the pair sit.
Lorelei: “Okay so — I wanted to pull you away from everyone because I feel like we have tension.” She nods her head. “Is there a problem with us? Seriously.”
Ren: “To be honest… I think you’re a pretty girl but you lack substance so It’s really hard to connect with you. I think you try to hard and need to chill. Just be yourself.” She shrugs.”That’s why I feel like I’m not getting along with you because I like to keep it real.”
“When it comes to Lorelei…beautiful gowns…that’s about it. She is the definition of ‘try hard’. Look at her big, fake ass. Yuck!”
Lorelei: “But girl.” She cocks her neck. “You don’t know me to say that about me.” She laughs. “I think you lack substance as well, to be honest. You’re only accomplishment is marrying someone rich and even then, didn’t he get another woman pregnant?”
Ren laughs a bit.
Ren: “You’re entitled to your own opinion, as am I. But you don’t get to talk about my husband when you’re married to a man that could be your dad. Beverly Beach is my town and these are my friends.” She motions to the table behind them. “You’re new to this.”
Lorelei: “It’s not your town.” She rolls her eyes. “That is soooo ridiculous. Before I even moved here, nobody even knew who you were.”
“I think Ren thought she was the ‘it’ girl of Beverly Beach. She knows my husband and I are established and have money. See, she’s jealous! She’s got a failing relationship and a man whos knocking up other women while I’m in a happy marriage. Who’s really winning?”
Ren: “You’re a joke, sweetie. There’s a reason you’re here and it’s me.”
Lorelei laughs and stands up.
Lorelei: “Well, you can think that. I’m going to the restroom.”
Ren: “I think I’m done with you for tonight. Clearly you’re an idiot.”
Lorelei walks off and goes into her lower level door while Ren walks back to the table.
Olivia: “Ren, what was that about? Is everything okay?”
Morgan: “I’m going to go find Lorelei.” He gets up and walks off, giving Ren a look on the way out.
Ren: “That was the biggest waste of time. She wants to be me so bad.”
Lauren shakes her head.
Lauren: “Just brush it off, Ren. The host and hostess seem to be M.I.A, shall we just go?”
Lauren, Olivia, Brandon, Elyse, and Ren are seen gathering their belongings and getting ready to leave.
“Ren and Lorelei are both young and beautiful. They are trying to both be the youngest and prettiest and that's why they hate each other. I think they will eventually get over it and become friends.” She shrugs and laughs.
The camera focuses on the group as they stand around the dinner table saying their goodbyes. The screen suddenly turns black and a short snippet of audio plays from a future episode, foreshadowing what's to come.
Ren: “I’m done with her. She’s beneath me.”
A glass shatters
Olivia: “Oh my GOD!”
Lorelei: “Ren, keep your fucking mouth shut about me and my family.”
Elyse: “No, no , no…. don’t!”
A loud commotion is heard followed by women screaming.
Lauren: “STOP! REN! LET HER GO!”
The episode ends.
